| Arjun can be been surrounded by women in his latest release WE ARE FAMILY. He has an ex-wife, a current girlfriend, a teenage daughter and a small girl in his life - all of whom ensure that there is not a single dull moment that his character enjoys in the film. No wonder, Arjun gives out a hearty laugh though when asked if it was a poetic justice after all to be seen in a women dominated film after he had starred in all men affair like RAAJNEETI and ROCK ON. "Each story comes with his own characters and here there were two females required. Good for me as I really love women. I was the chosen one to have the loveliest ones around me," he says.In the last couple of months, Arjun Rampal has been asked at least 50 times if he ever felt insecure about working with powerhouse actresses like Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in his first solo lead starrer after ages. However, he is not just maintaining his calm but even laughing it all away in good spirit. "I have always been of the belief that when you are surrounded by good actors, you never face any problem while performing. The trouble begins when you have bad actors standing next to you. In such a situation, it is a nightmare to be facing the camera because you know for sure that howsoever hard you may try, the scene won't turn out to be good," says Arjun who has been a part of four successful films in a row - RAAJNEETI, HOUSEFULL, ROCK ON and OM SHANTI OM. In these films, he has worked with the likes of Manoj Bajpai, Ranbir Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Shahana Goswami and last but not the least, Shah Rukh Khan. "Just look at these actors, aren't they just phenomenal? When you are acting alongside them, you know that the results would be fantabulous. You only end up feeling a lot secure," he signs off. |
